The question that all sincere entrepreneurs and small business owners ask…”how can I drive more traffic to my website and increase sales?”  Is it enough to have a website? 

If you are one of those people you probably already know it is not enough to have just a website.  One must drive traffic to that website, and have a strategy for marketing. 

I was one of those small business owners, asking the very questions above.  As I searched for programs, and free advertising avenues all I found was a lot of hard work for very little profit, if any.  I knew there was a lot of money to be made on the internet…but how?    Everyone is looking for that “one” thing they can sell to make them a millionaire.  Yes, its true you must have something to sell to make money.  That is a good place to start.  I realized though I needed more than just something to “sell”, I needed strategy!

When I began to follow some simple steps, money started coming in slowly at first.  It wasn’t long before it was a steady, consistent stream of finances being deposited into my paypal account.

These are the steps I followed:

1.        Find a product

2.       Get the product online (if not already)

3.       Tell your friends

4.       Strategic Email Campaign

5.       Relationship with the customer

Find a product….this sounds simple enough?  There are millions of things to choose from.  Don’t take this lightly.  Don’t pick a product you know nothing about!!!  Pick something that interests YOU.  Its important to enjoy life, and enjoy living.  Money is not the answer to happiness.  It helps, but if you are making millions of dollars and not enjoying life, what good is that?  Find something that fits you!  If you can find something that people have to “re-order” on a monthly basis that is a plus and helps with steady, consistent income.   There are products from health, and nutrition, to software downloads.  Are you technical with computers?   Have you ever wanted to have your own software you can sell, but you are not a developer?  You can do it!  Check out click bank, and you can re-sell software, and not have to have an inventory.  A great way to make money!

Ok, so now that you have chosen a product you need to get it online if it isn’t already.  Don’t know how to build a website?  No problem!  There are tons of places where you can build your own website online, just do a search in google under “free online website builders”.  If you need something more custom, I would recommend a company called:  LifelineHosting.Net, they can build you whatever you need for reasonable prices.  Just mention the phrase “keep it simple” and you will get a discount.  We recommend you keep your website to one or two pages, and don’t clutter it with too much information on your product.  Just keep it bullet pointed.

Tell your friends- Yes, nothing has changed with all this technology!  The best form of advertising is still WORD OF MOUTH.  Start there.  Send your new website link to all your friends and family.  Also get on facebook and post all your specials and your product on facebook.  This is called social networking.  This is very effective and its based on “friends and family”. 

Strategic Email Campaign- For your online marketing, it is important that you setup a strategic email campaign.  Plan out your specials for the year.  Have a set date that you send out your newsletter, monthly or weekly.  Writing good articles within your newsletter will be very beneficial to you and your customers.  The content should be something to do with the product you are selling.  This will keep customers coming back to visit your site. 

For other email campaigns you will want to send an ad that saves people something.  It doesn’t have to be a huge discount, just something.  People want to know they are saving $$$.  To gain new customers outside your current customer base you will want to hire a 3rd party email marketer that will reach tens of thousands of emails but not break your wallet!  Such companies as:  www.eblastmailer.com are very helpful, they are legit opt in emails, and no spamming. 

Last but not least, the relationship with the customer.  Interact via email or phone with your customers!!!  It’s rare these days to even find good customer service.  Give the customer what they weren’t expecting….  Give them a smile and go the extra mile!  Let them know their business is valued and you look forward in working with them on a long term basis.  When you are faithful to your customer, then they will be faithful customers.  When you make a mistake in an order, you do whatever necessary to make it right for the customer, and they will keep coming back.

The Benefit Of Email Marketing

You have prosperous online business sales; your marketing campaign is to attract new customers your business grows. You get an e-mail about your service or product, what now?

The person who sends you an email has interest in your business. To defer the answer or ignore this person will be the beginning of your business slowdown. It may not happen immediately, but eventually word of mouth would bet that around you do not care for your customers or potential customers enough to provide good customer service. Try to answer e-mail within 24 hours minimum. The maximum period you want is 48 hours. To do this you will need to set aside time each day just to answer e-mail. Some say three times a day, morning, midday, and evening is better because it provides all receive a timely response.

Make sure you are polite and professional. There are some times you just do not feel like answering a question that directly respond to your website or sales letter, or any question you feel is irrelevant or stupid. If you do not feel you can politely and professionally answer, take a break. Come back after it took some time to cool down. For customers who have requested is an important part of their decision whether they will do business with you or not. Do not alienate customers or potential customers with a hasty emotional response.

If you really like answering e-mail or becomes too much for you to keep up with. Hire someone to do this task for you. You want this person to choose carefully. Get someone who is friendly and knows your business. Find someone who has the time and English skills needed for quick and clear response back to the client.

Some questions you will get again and again. For them the standard answer, which repealed this, you can cut and paste into your reply, and then adapt the rest of your response to that particular e-mail clients.

Learn how to use your e-mail filters. This will automatically sort your e-mail with any junk mail you receive. There is an advantage if you have created folders for sales, customer inquiries, feedback, and others. You can then priorities of your answers. Reply to your e-mail them in the order that you feel is important. You can respond to requests and feedback faster than sales. With email filters, you save time from having to work in groups on their own.

We all understand that things come unexpectedly. This may cause delay in the responses. Use an answering machine, place it on the website, or send a newsletter quickly if something appears. People know that anything can happen, and you’ll understand, just make sure you keep them informed about when they can expect a response.

If you pay attention to your customers and potential customers comments, questions or comments, you will make them happy and loyal group that will help your sales. If you ignore them, they will go to another place. This will also affect your sales only it will be negative

Seven Online Marketing Strategy That Work to Enhance My Clickbank Business

In this article, I’m going to show you seven Internet marketing tactics that work to launch a web a My Clickbank Business project.

Internet marketing plan / strategy 1 : Have a plan. Before you do any keyword research or write a PDF, have a written plan for each step of the process. I knew a woman who wanted to leap into keyword research before she had any idea what she needed to do with the keyword she found. She had heard that keyword research was the key to success, so she needed to do it. Instead of leaping into something, develop a step by step plan.  

Web marketing system / tactic 2 : Work the plan. Too many of us get distracted from their plan. Then next huge thing comes along and they are off working on it rather than working the plan they have recently invented. If, after a fair period, you find the plan you have isnt working, you can develop another plan, but dont go skipping from thing to thing with no overall method in mind.  

Online marketing plan / strategy three : Develop a collection of skills. You simply cannot master every kind of tactic that works on the internet. However, you can develop a core set of skills that may make you money. Some of these include : sales copywriting, pay per click marketing, bum marketing, affiliate promoting, graphics development, list building, video selling, and much , much more. As you develop specific abilities, you can work them into your existing plan.  

Internetmarketing technique / method four : Build a list. Whatever your internet marketing plan is, part of it should be to build a list. In reality, you should have many lists. You need to have a list of prospects who have visited your website and have downloaded free information from you and you need to have a catalogue of folk who have essentially bought products from you. If you have multiple niches, you need multiple lists.

Online promotional strategy / technique 7 : worth your clients. Maybe nothing is more important than building a trust-based relationship with your clients. Feel honored that your customers have purchased from you or through your links and pass on that respect to them in everything you do. Do not go for the quick kill go for the long run relationship.
