Thermal boards are produced by 3 main suppliers in the UK. British Gypsum, which are owned by the French Company Saint Gobain, Knauf and Lafarge. Each company has a strong technical team of people working away in the background who are devoted to ensuring that their products are produced to ensure that money can be save by the reduction of heat loss in a particular property. When looking for a particular product it is importatnt to choose the correct one as all 3 manufacturers have a number of differant types all of which suit a particular purpose within the property. Each of the manufacturers will have represenative who will assist you with the process of deciding which of thier products is best for you to use. They will then point you in the right direction where these products can be bought from. They will also give you an indication of the likley price and maybe installation costs should you decide to use there thermal boards. A thermal insulation board is a sheet of plasterboard with a certain type of insulation laminated to the rear. Be very careful to get the correct advise failure to do so will undoubtedly result in cost of time and money
